Comments: This was a Commemorative bronze medal produced for the 300 year anniversary of Samuel de Champlain.

Emmanuel Hahn was a well known artist, who was commissioned to sculpt many Art Medals such as this, including the Stephen Leacock prize and also designed the Bluenose Schooner on the back of the Canadian Dime, first introduced in 1937.
