This wonderful impressionist oil painting is typical of the Montreal Sketch Clubs style of the 1920s. This was painted en-plein-air by a professional artist who was likely a member of an art association in Montreal. The loose brushwork and liberal use of the support, make this impressionist painting quite desireable.
